In addition to the written submissions to the Committee, we supported the partners in Armenia and Ukraine, plus Step by Step and Keystone Moldova, to carry out small action research projects and write reports of their findings. We provided advice on action research methodology and data analysis.
In Armenia and Moldova, the action research focused on the issue of inclusive transition of learners between grades and levels of education.
In Ukraine, the action research looked more widely at progress towards meeting the expectations set out in UNCRPD Article 7 on children with disabilities, Article 8 on awareness raising and Article 24 on education. We facilitated a workshop for local researchers to introduce them to action research and help them work collaboratively on research questions and methodology design.
